These mini white sage smudge sticks are ideal as a handy sized sage bundle and for burning in smaller rooms. Once the ends are lit they produce a good amount of smoke and can be extinguished on an incense dish or sand.

How to Burn:
Traditionally, smudging is a spiritual ceremony used to clear out negative energies and attract positive energy. You can burn a smudge stick directly from the end, or break off fragments to burn in an incense bowl or dish. Many find that burning sage helps open them up to meditation and finding connection with the spiritual. Sustainability:
Our supplier, Juniper Ridge started as a company at a farmers market at Berkeley, California in 1998. All of their aromatics and herbs are sustainably sourced in the wild and they donate 10% of their profits to defending western wildernesses.
No plants are killed during harvest, instead larger shrubs and trees are pruned responsibly for the leaves. Leaves are trimmed in clusters at the green stem, above the woody section. Harvesting in this way allows for two or three new clusters to appear the next year in the same place.
