Incense means a lot to us. Our journey began when we experienced the classic aroma of market-stall incense wafting through Camden Town, London. The air was sweet, spicy and calming and even now, the smell of incense still evokes those smoky nostalgic memories of the market.

Naturally, we began exploring other types of incense and discovered the likes of Shoyeido and Nippon Kodo. In fact, our first 'taste' of Japanese incense was Shoyeido's Kyoto Autumn Leaves and what an introduction that was!

Since then we've been trying out different brands of Japanese and Indian incense, discovering incredible scents and learning in-depth about the rich cultural and historical context that surrounds this art. We've really developed a passion for the stuff.

And now, at this stage in our journey, we're excited to be sharing this passion with you.
