Dome Incense Stick Holder | Gold

I have more than one of these for different rooms. They are excellent. They will hold everything but the thick Tibetan-type sticks (it will hold the thinner of the Tibetan-style sticks).

The holes go all the way through so if a piece gets stuck, you can push it out from the other side.

The holes are quite deep, which allows sticks to be properly upright but does leave a longer unburned stub. To avoid this, take one of these longer unburned stubs, break it in half and put a piece in the hole before inserting your next stick.

It's heavy enough that it won't tip over even with heavier sticks, and I think burning Indian sticks upright instead of at an angle makes them burn slower and cleaner. They also drop the ash into a smaller area this way, which I find less messy than my traditional longer, angled holder for Indian sticks.

This holder means one holder and one dish for all my Japanese and Indian incense and some of my Tibetan incense. No need to swap thing around. Although not being integrated with the dish also means I can choose a different dish at any time if I want.

You wouldn't have thought there would be so much to say about a tiny thing like this!
